Villas above the sea
The Northolme occupies one of the most dramatic settings on Mahe, a steep, green headland at Glacis on the north coast where luxury villas step down the cliff toward the water. Many have their own plunge pools and wide ocean views, and the sound and shimmer of the sea are ever present. It is one of the oldest hotel sites in the Seychelles, with a romantic history, the writer Ian Fleming is among the famous names associated with its early days, and today it blends that heritage with polished Hilton comfort.
The feel is intimate and adult, all-villa and rather secluded, with a small beach and coves below the cliff and some of the best house-reef snorkelling of any resort on the island right off the rocks.
