It sits on Beau Vallon, the long, safe, swimmable beach that is the social heart of northern Mahé, with dive centres, restaurants and the twice-weekly beach market a short walk along the sand. If you want to be in the middle of the action, few places are more central.
It is a big, established resort rather than a boutique retreat, and it wears that honestly. Expect a busy pool, plenty of facilities and a lively atmosphere rather than hushed exclusivity.
