FREGATE ISLAND PRIVATE
One of the most exclusive private islands on earth, a lush, hilly island east of Mahé with a handful of villas, seven beaches and thousands of giant tortoises roaming free.
Premium luxury resort on a private island offering posh villas with pools & butlers, plus dining.
A legendary private island
Frégate lies alone to the east of Mahé, reached by a short flight or helicopter. It is a byword for privacy and conservation, an entire island given over to a small number of villas, so guests effectively share seven beaches and a whole forested interior between just a few dozen people.
The most famous of those beaches, Anse Victorin, is regularly named among the finest in the world. Around it the island is a restored haven for wildlife, with more than two thousand free-roaming giant tortoises and rare birds brought back from the edge.
Villas, wildlife and total seclusion
The villas are large and lavish, set high for the views, with private pools and a level of service and space that places Frégate at the very top of the market. Conservation runs through everything, and guests can join the island’s tortoise and habitat work.
It suits those seeking the ultimate in privacy, wildlife and exclusivity, and for whom an entire island shared with only a handful of others is the whole point.
