Anse Georgette
A near-perfect white crescent at the northern end of Praslin, tucked inside the grounds of a resort. Reaching it takes a little planning, and that gatekeeping is exactly why it stays so pristine.
Perfection with a gate
Anse Georgette is the beach people describe in a hush. A short, flawless curve of powder-white sand, water in impossible blues, and granite boulders framing each end, all backed by thick green forest. It sits at the northern tip of Praslin within the grounds of the Constance Lemuria resort, and that setting is the key to both its beauty and its access.
Because the resort controls the land route, non-guests usually need to arrange access in advance, and numbers are limited. It is worth the phone call. That very restriction is what keeps Georgette so unspoilt, free of crowds and vendors, closer to a private paradise than a public beach.
Swimming, turtles and getting in
The water is generally clear and inviting, and on calm days the swimming and snorkelling are lovely, though as an open northern beach it can pick up swell at times, so read the sea. Georgette is also an important turtle nesting beach, and during the season the resort protects the nests, so tread carefully and keep your distance from any marked areas or animals.
There are two ways in. You can arrange access through the resort and walk in across its grounds, subject to their permission and any daily limit, or you can arrive by boat, which many visitors do as part of a wider Praslin excursion. Either way, a little forward planning turns a difficult beach into an unforgettable one.

★★★★★This beach is absolutely amazing. Beautiful soft white sand. Can get here by trail from Lazio Anse or contact Constance Lemiore. Hotel will have you walk through property for a bit, rolling hills. 20 minute walk, yet worth it.

Sort out access before you set off. Either call ahead to the resort or take a boat trip that includes the beach, because turning up on spec at the land gate can mean being turned away.
