A secret near the famous beaches
Anse La Farine is a small, hidden beach on the beautiful north-western tip of Praslin, close to the celebrated Anse Georgette and the resort coast around it. Reached by a short trail through the greenery, or by boat, it stays quiet and unspoilt while its famous neighbours draw the crowds. For those who make the little effort, it offers a real sense of discovery.
The setting is classic Praslin, calm turquoise water, pale sand and granite, in a sheltered, tucked-away pocket of coast. It is a lovely reward for travellers who like to seek out the island’s quieter corners.
Snorkelling and calm water
The sheltered, clear water here is a highlight, often calm and excellent for snorkelling, with a good variety of reef fish close to shore. It makes an easy, rewarding swim on settled days, and the seclusion only adds to the pleasure. As always, judge the sea and the trail conditions, and bring what you need, as there are no facilities.
It pairs beautifully with Anse Georgette and the north-west beaches for a day exploring the loveliest tip of Praslin.

★★★★Trail from Anse la Blague not easy and quite steep. Nice beach with corals. Therefore good for snorkeling but not as good for taking a bath.
