Chauve Souris is a small granite islet a few hundred metres off Côte d’Or on Praslin, with a single small lodge that all but takes over the rock. With only a handful of rooms, it offers the rare feeling of having a private island without a private-island price.
The islet is ringed by clear water and reef, wonderful for snorkelling straight off the shore, and the mainland beach and restaurants of Côte d’Or are a short boat hop away whenever you want them.
