Carana Beach sits on the green hillside above Anse Carana, a small, sheltered bay near the northern tip of Mahé. Its thatched, chalet-style suites step down the slope, each angled for the view out over the water, giving it the feel of a private hamlet rather than a hotel.
The cove below is calm and good for swimming and snorkelling, quieter than the busy sweep of Beau Vallon a few minutes’ drive away. The whole place is designed around the sea view and the sunset.
